Roberts doesn't have insight to the whole picture and/or history of Israel.

By Paul Craig Roberts

According to US government propaganda, terrorist cells are spread throughout America, making it necessary for the government to spy on all Americans and violate most other constitutional protections. Among President Bush’s last words as he left office was the warning that America would soon be struck again by Muslim terrorists.

If America were infected with terrorists, we would not need the government to tell us. We would know it from events. As there are no events, the US government substitutes warnings in order to keep alive the fear that causes the public to accept pointless wars, the infringement of civil liberty, national ID cards, and inconveniences and harassments when they fly.

The most obvious indication that there are no terrorist cells is that not a single neocon has been assassinated.

I do not approve of assassinations, and am ashamed of my country’s government for engaging in political assassination. The US and Israel have set a very bad example for al Qaeda to follow.

The US deals with al Qaeda and Taliban by assassinating their leaders, and Israel deals with Hamas by assassinating its leaders. It is reasonable to assume that al Qaeda would deal with the instigators and leaders of America’s wars in the Middle East in the same way.

Today every al Qaeda member is aware of the complicity of neoconservatives in the death and devastation inflicted on Muslims in Iraq, Afghanistan, Lebanon and Gaza. Moreover, neocons are highly visible and are soft targets compared to Hamas and Hezbollah leaders. Neocons have been identified in the media for years, and as everyone knows, multiple listings of their names are available online.

Neocons do not have Secret Service protection. Dreadful to contemplate, but it would be child’s play for al Qaeda to assassinate any and every neocon. Yet, neocons move around freely, a good indication that the US does not have a terrorist problem.

If, as neocons constantly allege, terrorists can smuggle nuclear weapons or dirty bombs into the US with which to wreak havoc upon our cities, terrorists can acquire weapons with which to assassinate any neocon or former government official.

Yet, the neocons, who are the Americans most hated by Muslims, remain unscathed.
The "war on terror" is a hoax that fronts for American control of oil pipelines, the profits of the military-security complex, the assault on civil liberty by fomenters of a police state, and Israel’s territorial expansion. ("Israel's territorial expansion" is propaganda.)

There were no al Qaeda (Fact: there is no al Qaeda) in Iraq until the Americans brought them there by invading and overthrowing Saddam Hussein, who kept al Qaeda out of Iraq. The Taliban is not a terrorist organization, but a movement attempting to unify Afghanistan under Muslim law. The only Americans threatened by the Taliban are the Americans Bush sent to Afghanistan to kill Taliban and to impose a puppet state on the Afghan people.

Hamas is the democratically elected government of Palestine, or what little remains of Palestine after Israel’s illegal annexations. (Fact: Israel acquired the land legally, via the U.N., out of the Ottoman Empire.) Hamas is a terrorist organization in the same sense that the Israeli government and the US government are terrorist organizations. In an effort to bring Hamas under Israeli hegemony, Israel employs terror bombing and assassinations against Palestinians. Hamas replies to the Israeli terror with homemade and ineffectual rockets. (Fact: Hamas fired 2900 rockets at Israel in 2008.)

Hamas rocket kills Israeli Published: February 28, 2008
In a sudden upsurge of violence, an Israeli civilian was killed Wednesday in a rocket attack by Hamas militants from Gaza, the first such fatality in nine months, and at least seven Palestinians, mostly militants, were killed in two Israeli air strikes, one before and one after the rocket attack. Israel launched the first air strike in southern Gaza on Wednesday morning, hitting a minivan on a road west of the city of Khan Yunis and killing five members of the Hamas military wing, Qassam Brigades. Southern Israel then came under heavy rocket fire, with more than 25 rockets launched within two hours, according to the Israeli Army. Hamas, the Islamic militant group that controls Gaza, claimed responsibility for the rocket barrage, saying it was retaliating for the Israeli strike.

The Israeli victim, Ronnie Yihye, 47, was struck in the chest by shrapnel from a rocket that landed in the parking lot of a college campus on the outskirts of the border town of Sderot. According to Israeli police figures, he was the 14th civilian to die from rockets fired from Gaza since 2001.
**********
Hezbollah represents the Shi’ites of southern Lebanon, another area in the Middle East that Israel seeks for its territorial expansion.

The US brands Hamas and Hezbollah "terrorist organizations" for no other reason than the US is on Israel’s side of the conflict. There is no objective basis for the US Department of State’s "finding" that Hamas and Hezbollah are terrorist organizations. It is merely a propagandistic declaration.

Americans and Israelis do not call their bombings of civilians terror. What Americans and Israelis call terror is the response of oppressed people who are stateless because their countries are ruled by puppets loyal to the oppressors. These people, dispossessed of their own countries, have no State Departments, Defense Departments, seats in the United Nations, or voices in the mainstream media. They can submit to foreign hegemony or resist by the limited means available to them.

The fact that Israel and the United States carry on endless propaganda to prevent this fundamental truth from being realized indicates that it is Israel and the US that are in the wrong and the Palestinians, Lebanese, Iraqis, and Afghans who are being wronged.
The retired American generals who serve as war propagandists for Fox "News" are forever claiming that Iran arms the Iraqi and Afghan insurgents and Hamas. But where are the arms? To deal with American tanks, insurgents have to construct homemade explosive devices out of artillery shells. After six years of conflict the insurgents still have no weapon against the American helicopter gunships. Contrast this "arming" with the weaponry the US supplied to the Afghans three decades ago when they were fighting to drive out the Soviets.
continued

My comments:
The neocons are playing all sides against each other. They really don't care who loses, they will kill the survivors. However, the tribe of Judah is the tribe referred to as 'Jewish.' This, and part of the tribe of Joseph, are the tribes that have been faithful to God and He will defend them against all comers.

Hold it.

The Turks of the Ottoman Empire were hated. The Arabs under them hated the Turks. That was what Lawrence of Arabia was about. He helped them rebel to help defeat the Turks in Europe.

Palestine was Jewish and Christian before it was conquered by the Muslims. Constantinople was the capital of the Byzantine Empire. The Arabs chewed it off for four hundred years before we even responded to their constant attacks by undertaking the First Crusade.

Hamas was not elected in the Gaza, I thought. I thought they simply seized power.

More later.

Big Lies (pdf file)

Demolishing The Myths
of the Propaganda War Against Israel

by David Meir-Levi

Origins of the Problem
The State of Israel was created in a peaceful and legal process by
the United Nations. It was not created out of Palestinian lands. It was
created out of the Ottoman Empire, ruled for four hundred years by
the Turks who lost it when they were defeated in World War I. There
were no “Palestinian” lands at the time because there were no people
claiming to be Palestinians. There were Arabs who lived in the region
of Palestine who considered themselves Syrians. It was only after
World War I that the present states of Jordan, Syria, Lebanon and Iraq
were also created – and also created artificially out of the Turkish
Empire by the British and French victors. Jordan was created on about
80 percent of the Palestine Mandate, which was originally designated
by the League of Nations as part of the Jewish homeland.  Since then,
Jews have been prohibited from owning property there. Two-thirds
of its citizens are Palestinian Arabs, but it is ruled by a Hashemite
monarchy.

In 1947, the UN partition plan mandated the creation of two states
on the remaining 20 percent of the Palestine Mandate: the State of
Israel for the Jews, and another state for the Arabs. The Arabs rejected
their state, and launched a war against Israel. This is the primal cause
of the Arab refugee problem.

Too many things happening at one time and I'm having trouble keeping up.

Sirens go off in Israel for war on Iran

An Israeli defense strategy report for 2009 has tasked the military with making preliminary preparations for launching a war against Iran.

An annual defense work plan presented to Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak and IDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant-General Gabi Ashkenazi for the year 2009 describes Iran as "the No.1 threat the IDF is now preparing for."

Citing Iran as "a threat to Israel's existence," the report tasks the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) with reinforcing its strategic aerial capabilities, while zooming in on the development of "remote-piloted vehicles and unmanned aerial vehicles", as well as "infrastructural investments in intelligence and communications devices."

The IDF has also been required to enhance the ground forces' readiness by increasing the level of training for the army and reserve troops.

The work plan also reveals an approximate $370 million budget deficit for the Israeli army and adds that the funds required to address the change in military priorities will be provided via various government bureaus.

The report comes in support of long-standing talks running hot and cold about an Israeli military strike on Iran.

Israel, the sole possessor of a nuclear warhead in the Middle East, has long claimed that Iran, the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) signatory, will have enough fissile material to become a nuclear power by the end of 2009.

Under the allegation, Israeli officials argue that a military attack is a legitimate option for taking out Iran's nuclear infrastructure.

Iran's nuclear program has been a cause for concern in the West, despite confirmations by the UN nuclear watchdog that there is no link between the use of nuclear material and the "alleged studies" of weaponization attributed to Iran by certain Western countries.

Following the "fresh approach" of US President Barack Obama in dealing with Iran's nuclear case, the Israeli government has been watching with great attention as the new US administration works to "diplomatically" engage Tehran.

The new US policy regarding Iran has surprised Israeli circles as they have long sought a green light from the United States to launch an attack on Iran.

Earlier in January The Times reported that the Israeli government had asked for bunker-busting bombs from former president George W. Bush, and demanded refueling and overflight rights over Iraq to take out Iran's main nuclear enrichment plant at Natanz.

The former president, however, deflected the secret Israeli request and revealed that -- as an alternative -- new covert actions aimed at sabotaging Iran's nuclear program had been authorized.

Amid wild speculation about an imminent military strike on Iran's nuclear facilities, the country's Defense Minister Mostafa Mohammad-Najjar set off for Russia on Monday to discuss bilateral military ties.

The Iranian minister's visit to Russia is considered bad news for Israeli officials who have frequently expressed grave concern about the sale of a controversial air-defense system -- the sophisticated anti-aircraft S-300 missile -- by Russia to Iran.

Along with Israel, Western countries have criticized Russia's military cooperation with Iran, saying that such associations have sabotaged efforts to retard the Iranian nuclear progress.

According to intelligence officials familiar with the defense capabilities of the S-300, the missile system would effectively rule out the possibility of an Israeli war against Iran.

"If Tehran obtained the S-300, it would be a game-changer in military thinking for tackling Iran," says long-time Pentagon advisor Dan Goure.

Nowadays, democracy rules the world. Communism is long dead, elections are taking place even in Afghanistan and Iraq, and world leaders are planning the "global community" we hear so much about. So why isn't everybody happy, finally? For that matter—why do the voters in the United States, the world’s flagship democracy, even bother to vote?

It is not your votes
but your dollars
that elect us

The US government is engaged in a gigantic geopolitical contest of economic warfare to control the world's declining natural resource base.  Obama is now the US Commander in Chief in this war, and he is not about to end it.

"Obama is now the US Commander in Chief"

Until he's exposed. Even military men are asking the SCOTUS if they have to take orders from him, seeing as how he never proved that he's a "natural born" citizen of the USA and qualified to be POTUS.
