TV is a fad. Overrated. It will fade into oblivion. LOL
We haven't had TV in over decade or two. With just one exception lasting 3 months to try out the new fiber optic technology they layed in our neighborhood.
For video entertainment we use Netflix, bittorrent downloads, and the library. For news we use the radio, printed media subscriptions, and the interbutt. For general entertainment we play games (the old fasioned kind using cards and stuff). Sometimes we go to the book store and read their books and mags.
So TV we can live without and not even miss it, but electricity is a horse of a different color!
