Here's a story that makes you realize what "multi-cultural" really means! Hey, no peeing on a picture of Moses or Rabbi Hillel, but there is this other Jewish fella that you're allowed to mock to what end?
I don't know the end, or, perhaps, I don't understand the end. This stuff forever baffles me, man of explanations. Not that this cannot be explained. I mean the explanation is obvious. The problem is the disappointment I feel about human nature and its capacity to make exceptions for its own glaring weakness and vices, viewed narcissisticly as "virtues" of "outspokenness"!
Here, Larry David expresses his real feelings of contempt for Christianity, even if the US, founded by Christians, has proven itself to be the safest country in the world for Jews to live in for the last two centuries, and while the US continues to be the country to safeguard, many would even say "indulge", Israel.
I get that the Christian West has a multitude of sins, but this is supposed to do what....?
There it is. Larry David "accidentally" sprays some pee on a portrait of Jesus. And, that ain't all.
The report is from NewsBusters.

At one point in the show, David goes to the bathroom in a Catholic home and splatters urine on a picture of Jesus; he doesn't clean it off. Then a Catholic woman goes to the bathroom, sees the picture and concludes that Jesus is crying. She then summons her equally stupid mother and the two of them fall to their knees in prayer.
When David and Jerry Seinfeld (playing himself) are asked if they ever experienced a miracle, David answers, "every erection is a miracle." That's what passes for creativity these days.
Was Larry David always this crude? Would he think it comedic if someone urinated on a picture of his mother? This might be fun to watch, but since HBO only likes to dump on Catholics (it was just a couple of weeks ago that Sarah Silverman insulted Catholics on "Real Time with Bill Maher"), and David is Jewish, we'll never know.
A Big Hollywood reader sent an e-mail message to the website asking an interesting question:
Of course, the hypocrisy is that Mr. David would never exhibit such gross contempt for any other religion, especially Islam. Can you imagine the s**t storm that would follow if David pissed on a painting of the prophet Muhammad? Of course, HBO, the complicit scum that they are, would not have allowed that to air.

Yeah, we know to what end this leads to if weakly opposed. I don't think the opposition is as weak as it was say 15 years ago. This kind of thing further galvanizes the mainstream American into action. It is no mere coincidence that Tea Parties and Town Hall meetings have gotten so vociferous. On the Evangelical Christian front they have become much more effective "wise as serpents and harmless as doves" and spiritually aggressive.
