The Watchmen is not a chick-flick but for us dudes it is worth the price of admission.  The opening credits is one of the best parts

Excellent. Are these "Watchmen" supposed to be self-invented superheroes? I am trying to remember if I have ever watched an episode.

Yes, they are very human Super Heroes. 





It is an alternate history where our superheroes, highly skilled vigilantes really, progress from crime fighting to more and more political, national, and strategic involvements.
