Is the New World Order the Modern Tower of Babel?
A person who follows the Judeo-Christian faith, could easily make the comparison. Those who don’t could at least see the wisdom that it relates. We live in a world where identities are searched and preserved. Countries and their people have been fighting to preserve their identities for thousands of years. Wars and conquerors have changed borders and disperse population but yet many have managed to come back together and many others are still fighting to retain or regain their identities. The Israeli and Palestinian struggle is a good example of such. This struggle is alive today in our country as it is challenged by a ruling elite that calls itself "Progressive".
They are trying to change and experiment with the system that our founders put in place.
Genesis 11
5: And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.
6: And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
7: Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.
8: So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.
What do those who want a New World Order are striving for? What have they learned from the history and the people of the world? Other than to seek World Dominance, what is the purpose in trying to establish something that is rejected by the people? The people of the world are not going to allow dominance by a minority without resistance. Those that have been conquered and oppressed said no to Cesar, Napoleon, Hitler, Stalin and many others. What make these Globalists think that citizens of the world would say yes to them?
Although we have overcome the barriers that languages impose, they are a clear reminder of the differences that remain upon the citizens of the world. No country will willingly give up anything unless they have something to gain. We saw that during the recent G20 meeting nothing much was accomplished and everyone left looking out for number one. On the surface they appeared to have reached an agreement but in reality it has become each man for himself event. It reminds me of the 1960’s movie “It’s a mad, mad, mad world”. As they try to decide on how to divide the money, it soon becomes an each man for himself race. A similar modern version is the movie “Rat Race”.
Those who are trying to sell this World Order are linked to the scare tactics use by the Global Warming alarmist. They are trying to sell us a catastrophic view of the world in order to con us and get us to go along with their agenda. Al Gore the number one alarmist and Globalist has been pushing the agenda and intends to largely benefit financially from the outcome. Undoubtedly, we need awareness to preserve our planet but Al Gore and companies such as GE are nothing more than salesmen who are looking to profit at the expense of the world and tax payers. On the other hand different opinions on the subject are grossly ignored. There are scientists who believe that it is all a hoax and that in reality Earth is cooling.
Those within our nation who believe that we can benefit from the concept of a World Dominance by a group of individuals or countries fail to recognize that Americans are not willing to compromise their identity. We would have to scrap our Constitution and laws and live by new ones that they would set. What goes thru the mind of these Globalists many of which are prominent people within our country? George H. W. Bush our 41st president, Henry Kissinger, Bill and Hillary Clinton, George Soros, their puppet Barack Obama and many others are taking us in that direction. Will the people stop them? We the people never gave the approval to turn us into a Global Community controlled by a world body. The only authority that we gave them was to protect us and wisely manage our tax money. In return they have given us a nation in danger and bankrupted. It is time to unite and stop them. If you can’t see these happening open your eyes and notice how our citizens are losing everything and if you are not yet, that could soon change. Jobs, homes, cars, assets, 401ks, retirements, pensions, and yes, Liberty. They are not acting in the best interest of the citizens of out country although they may think they are.
They will try to use the upcoming economic collapse to consolidate their power and only a united people can stop their agenda. They will manipulate the despair or the people, they will throw crumbs at us in exchange for our Freedom. The term “they” is use in an abstract manner for in reality we don’t have a clue of who is really in charge of what. We can easily see that it is not Barack Obama as he changes his mind continuously and erratically. Perhaps that is the reason why he must have a secured Blackberry so that he can get instructions. First it was the Tele-prompter and now the Blackberry.
Be a vigilant citizen and participate to rescue our country from the hands of those who have betrayed us and are forcing us to abandon our identity, principles, Constitution, laws and Freedom. Talk to those who you know in the Military and Law enforcement and remind them not to abandon the people, as we are their brothers and sisters. They should not side with those who have brought us chaos, misery and are stripping us of our material possessions while saving theirs. Those who have sworn to serve and defend our country must always recognize that a country is it’s people and not it's rulers.

An order derived from egocentrics has no basis in the real rules of the universe and will have to be an idol constructed based on the shared ego-complexes of the elites who create this New World Order.

Chilling. This is a real juxtaposition. Some people
work to keep them restored but looks like a bomb may have hit this one. I will
be considering this today for all the warriors who have fought to keep our land

When you mentioned metaphors for what is happening in the world and where we are going I got to thinking about art that may capture different aspects of this "seasonal" or millenial change in mankind's life-world.
What happened to this carousel? Something as a kid we wanted to go on forever and animated as if by magic. Did the rain drive people to shelter or is it broken down and desuetude?

I assumed something that was not there too Phil! My artists eye made a lot of mistakes. I thought the top was bent! I thought it had been hit with something from the top but it is not ..tis the design. I saw a person sitting there which now I see is a horse. I thought I saw a grocery cart of a homeless person.  I so love this whole concept you see! It is a rare fabulous photograph. ..especially with the black and white and the rain.

The artist is Robert Doisneau. Amazing picture of juxtaposition indeed! Meaningful to the gut level yet the words are evasive.

Yes, Peolosi, though, prays, but she is taken by her review by and membership in the Left's version of the New World Order.
I am sure that she is not bothered by Sotomayer's statement about "wise Latina woman" knowing more than a "white man".
At least, that is how she strikes me.

Pelosi... LOL yeah.
Pelosi won, a career politician, she stands at the top, fame and power, but I wonder if she sold her soul to get there. The Pope has already had a few pointed words with her. Her recollection of the conversation is quite a bit different than his! Does she have any dreams left? A world where government has unlimited power to ease all suffering? Or have they all vaporized in the cut-throat, the glitter, glamor, power, and ideological fashion-of-the-month of getting into the political superclass? Maybe all she wants now is peace and quiet to enjoy the government jet, chardonnay, and fois gras. To amuse herself watching the young male policy wonks and politicos vying with each other for her attention so they too might someday become a member of the political superclass.

Biblically speaking, I believe we've passed the Tower of Babel. We're moving toward the flood of Noah's day. The "New World Order" is founded in wickedness and will have it's ultimate reward when it comes into conflict with Israel.

Tubal - a son of Japheth (Gen. 10:2) his descendants become a nation (Isaiah 66:19, Ezek. 27:13)

Gog - a Reubinite (1Chr. 5:4) a Scythian prince (Ezek. 38:2, 3, 39:1) an evil person who will appear just before the last days (Rev. 20:8)

Magog - of Gog - 2nd son of Japheth - Gog of Magog are represented as enemies of God. They are considered to have inhabited the land northeast of Asia Minor. (Gen. 10:2, Ezek. 38:1, Rev. 20:8)

Meshech - a son of Japheth - a son of Shem - a tribe of that name - a district (Psalm 120:5, Ezek. 32:26)

Then I started reading Ezekiel 32.
2. "Son of man, raise a lamentation over Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say to him: "You consider yourself a lion among the nations, but you are like a dragon in the seas; you burst forth in your rivers, trouble the waters with your feet, and foul their rivers.

22. "Assyria is there, and all her company, their graves round about her, all of them slain, fallen by the sword;

24. "Elam is there, and all her multitude about her grave; all of them slain.

All the above I read as Islam, because they believe Muhammed's perverted version of the Bible.
Chapter 33 speaks of the "watchman" whose job is to warn the people when he sees "the sword coming upon the land." If he doesn't warn the people, their blood will be on his head.
Chapter 34 speaks of Zion: "Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say to them, even to the shepherds, Thus says the Lord God: Ho, shepherds of Israel who have been feeding yourselves! Should not shepherds feed the sheep? You eat the fat, you clothe yourselves with the wool, you slaughter the fatlings; but you do not feed the sheep. The weak you have not strengthened, the sick you have not healed, the crippled you have not bound up, the strayed you have not brought back, the lost you have not sought, and with force and harshness you have ruled them. So they were scattered, because there was no shepherd; and they became food for all the wild beasts. My sheep were scattered, they wandered over all the mountains and on every high hill; my sheep were scattered over all the face of the earth, with none to search or seek for them.
Chapter 35 speaks of Mt. Seir - The land of Esau; a mountain range identified with Edom, and again Ezekiel is told to prophesy against it.
Chapters 36 and 37 reveal that God intends to vindicate His name: "Therefore say to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord God: It is not for your sake, O house of Israel, that I am about to act, but for the sake of my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations to which you came. ...through you I vindicate my holiness before their eyes. For I will take you from the nations, and gather you from all the countries, and bring you into your own land." Chapter 36:34-36:
"And the land that was desolate shall be tilled, instead of being the desolation that it was in the sight of all who passed by. And they will say, 'This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are now inhabited and fortified. Then the nations that are left round about you shall know that I, the Lord, have rebuilt the ruined places, and replanted that which was desolate; I, the Lord, have spoken, and I will do it"

Obama may be an instrument of God in His Plan which trumps anything we may think about Obama and whatever grief he brings. After all God said Nebuchadnezzar is His servant and everyone must do as he says - a cruel pagan dictator!!

After this I beheld, and see another, like a leopard, which had on the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it.
Leopard: Black and White racial mix.
4 wings 4 heads: 44 th president.
Dominion: over the great nation USA.
The point being here is we must tread very carefully when interpreting Bible prophesy, persons and events. We are talking about the Will of God and what He has Ordained.
