Does anyone know how old this guy is? From what I can tell, he might be in his early 20's. People of that age do not have enough life experience and most of the time base their beleifs on their emotions.

the old saying rings true, in the real world everyone here is a honest, decent law abiding person...let's take that as a given
but from a few weeks away....this forum does appear to have taken on an anti-muslim stance, a religion for whatever reason a lot of people find solace in, in a world of liberal christians, islam offers certainty...for fucks sake dont anyone take offence at a general observation, please

If Corvus wanted gentler dialogue, he could have used my newly presented option of Provisional Peace Pit posts. He is only being given that which he is putting out- blind negativity. It's an object lesson.
Roy's and Corvus's long disputes are not new, I try not to get in the way when they spat like girls.
Good observations in part my brother Nocturne, but you're also coming late to the party a little. Nobody has downed Islam, per se. But we've discovered evidence (thanks to the brave Classic Woman) that by far most of the so-called, "moderate peace-loving Muslims" are fundamentalists en mufti, not Sufis. It seems to me that nobody is really slamming Corvus for expressing his opinions. We're slamming him because he is using old Jung Forum diversion to avoid supporting his own indictments with valid reasoning or logic. Nothing more or less than that. CW doesn't deserve his sh*t.
COrvus cannot easily set his own limits, being somatatonic. So we are obligated to help him to set them, again and again. While Corv admits to being flawed, he is probably too harsh even on himself, and this makes him intransigent when faced with challenge or refutation.
Fundamentalist Islam is a cancer and I am the cure. There is a War on Fundamentalist Islam, as there was on Nazism, Genghis Khan and al of the other vicious evil f*cks who have infested this planet over the eons.

This street scene of Times Square, a fantastic representation of the Free World, is exactly what the Fundies object to.
That song represents the hero's preoccupation with stuff that will not bring down the world while those prepared to bring down the West sit about preparing the WMDs that could.

Well I am fine with just dropping the subject.
So I guess until the mood changes it would be best for me to take leave.
It's interesting that things get so personal and heated when talking about a subject which none of us were truly born into. Something to really think about.
I respect you all, but I don't respect the collective direction this forum has taken in regards to certain issues.

And, you are not A TRICKSTER. The Trickster is a persona, a mask worn to relate you to the world without having to divulge your real self. That is what a persona is about and the actual mask of Trickster is part of the trick used by shamans to make people break through to getting the Spirit.
It might be true, Corvus, that your great fear is being tricked itself. Well, no way around that one. I can safely say that I have been "tricked". And it did me a lot of good.

Uh, all due respect Roy. Corvus just said that he wanted to drop it and apologised (or at least rendered a quasi-credible alibi). May be we should just move on without further exposition involving Corvus-Who-Has-Just-Apologised-and-Says-He-Wants-To-Drop-it. No sense in dog-piling on the guy when he's already resigned the game and essentially conceded checkmate.
